Earlier in the tour we introduced the concept of a-la-carte modules which are pre-developed components that can be customized to meet the requirements of your mobile application. We can reduce the mobile application development services cost and development time by using these modules as the foundation for the necessary features for your mobile app. We've compiled a list of our a-la-carte modules below, including the common industry integrations for each.

Mobile Launch Pad

This is the starting point for most a-la-carte applications (although some already include the mobile launchpad). Essentially, the launch pad gives you all of the basics of a mobile application including a few extras; it's the basis for attaching other customized modules. Here are some of the main features of the mobile launchpad:

  • Branded user interface design
  • Logo branded initialization screen
  • Home screen updateable using the Moro Dashboard on your computer, tablet or phone (yes you can update your mobile app on your mobile device!)

  • Business location screen utilizing Google Maps with push to navigation
  • Custom contact form with results sent via email, SMS and stored in you Moro Dashboard

Social Media Sharing

(Requires Mobile Launch Pad)

This module integrates Facebook, Twitter or Google+ into your mobile application using the various features associated with each platform as described below:

  • Facebook: Like button and send integration allowing users to easily send your content to their friends
  • Twitter: Application sharing via Tweet
  • Google+: Sharing on Google+ via +1

User Account System

(Requires Mobile Launch Pad)

This module integrates a user registration and login system for your application. There are many times when this is necessary, such as for protected content, data capture, inter-application payments, social media account registration and more. This modules comes complete with custom registration, login start screen, inter-application account management and a forgot password feature.

Social Media Account Registration

(Requires Mobile Launch Pad and User Account System)

This handy feature allows users to register using their social media accounts for either Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or Foursquare. This module also comes with these features for each social media platform:

  • Facebook: View friends using the application, invite friends to download / use the application and comment on application content (posted to user's wall)
  • Twitter: View friends using the application, invite friend to download / use the application and allow user to instantly follow your Twitter profile
  • Google+: View friends using the application, invite friend to download / use the application and comment on application content (posted to user's wall)
  • Foursquare: View a user's friends, your location's venue history, with Mobile Check-In included

Mobile Check-In

(Requires Mobile Launch Pad, User Account System and Social Media Account Registration)

Mobile Check-In allows users to check-in at your location, which shares to their friend that they are at your location and store it into their history. This is a great way to initiate social meet-ups especially if you are a brick and mortar retail / entertainment location. Check-In is an add-on to the Social Media Account Registration module, except for Foursquare which already includes Check-In.

Notification Manager

(Requires Mobile Launch Pad)

The notification manager is a great module for keeping users up to date on news, events, products and more. Through the Moro Dashboard, you can send a notification to each application user. The notifications tap into each platforms native notification manager, allowing to receive your notification instantly.

Location Marketer

(Requires Mobile Launch Pad)

If you have a brick and mortar location where you service your customers, this is an excellent feature to have. The location manager allows you to input a custom message through your Moro Dashboard and specify a given mile radius. The module taps into the application user's GPS and sends them your custom message when they travel within the specified mile radius. A great example of this would be a restaurant that sends a message about its daily specials within a ten mile radius of application users.

Inventory Manager

(Requires Mobile Launch Pad)

The inventory manager encompasses listings of inventory / products and services. This plugin is great for applications that don't require payment via mobile ecommerce. Inventory and services can be managed through the Moro Dashboard. Some great usage examples for this module are restaurant menus, hospitality services, equipment rental services, financial services and more.

Mobile Punch Card

(Requires Mobile Launch Pad)

The mobile punch card is a great solution to go digital with your rewards offerings. You can specify the parameters of the reward using your Moro Dashboard. Application users can either scan a QR code at your location or use mobile check-in if the check-in module is already available.

Reservation Management Lite

(Requires Mobile Launch Pad)

This module allows you to receive reservations or appointments for your business. For the Lite version, Moro Interactive will build a custom app form with the data collection details provided by you. Reservations can be view from the Moro Dashboard with an additional notification sent to you via email or SMS. In the Lite version, you'll have the ability to accept or decline the reservation and the application user will receive a push notification via their native platform.

Reservation Management Premium

This premium reservation module boasts a full feature set making this a complete reservation / appointment management system. This is considered an all-in-one solution and includes the entire mobile launch pad and user account modules. This module contains the following features:

  • Includes Mobile Launch Pad features
  • Includes User Account System
  • Configurable reservation / appointment service types
  • Configurable staff and staff availability
  • Application User creates appointment by selected their appropriate service type (if available). Next, using a built in calendar, the user can view available dates and staffs times. They can select the date and available staff member time and book their appointment (staff is configurable, if staff is not configured then the appointment is booked on date and time only).
  • Application users are notified of their reservation / appointment in advance through configurable settings available in the Moro Dashboard.

mCommerce

Mobile ecommerce, or mCommerce, is a fast growing solution for ordering products and services via a mobile device.
